Loughton Parish Council has allotments available to parishioners located near Specklands in the south west corner of Loughton grid square.

The Specklands site has a water supply. aerial-view-Loughton-Parish-Council-allotments-257x300

All the allotments are currently being cultivated, but parishioners interested in a plot may join the waiting list by contacting the Parish Clerk to confirm their interest.

The current rent payable for a plot is £16 per year (£8 per year for a half plot) and this is subject to an annual review usually in September.

The Parish Council has established rules for its allotments under s. 28 of the Small Holdings and Allotments Act 1908. To view the allotment rulesclick here.

There is another site allocated for use as allotments off Bradwell Road and the Parish Council hopes to be able to bring this site into use as further allotment provision at some point in the future, but the site needs works to be carried out before it can be brought into use. The Parish is currently working on a project to raise the funds to enable this site to be brought into use.
